A little too successful

It appears that Warhammer is currently a success, perhaps a little too successful at this moment, the wait every evening to paint I’ve been told is terrible. To make it worse as a family we had an impromptu trip to London on Tuesday which meant there was no painting on Tuesday night… Oh dear.
Another bit of good news, the Starter Set has arrived and I collected it from the store. But I’ve not opened it yet as we still have a few of the Infernus Marines to paint. My eldest is proving to be a decent model painter, give it a few years and he’ll be a painting pro or a regular teenager who forgets about Warhammer for a few years.
So the current plan for the starter set, I paint the Orks and he paints the Marines, and eventually we get to run a test game out of it.
I’ve had a delivery of Really Useful Boxes from Rymans. It was cheaper to buy a bundle of six 4 litre tubs than a bundle of 3 or 4. Fairly certain no boxes will go to waste. Next task will be to put little magnets in the model bases so they don’t slip in the boxes and find some 3D printed paint holders so they do not rattle around in the boxes.
Sunday we are due a day of painting, rather looking forward to it.
