Back to school rhythm

An open clear plastic storage box lined with dark card, full of unfinished Warhammer miniatures. Blue-primed Space Marines crowd the back, bare grey Orks on black bases fill the front, and one Marine lies toppled on its side.

Not a lot to report, back to school rhythm is finally kicking in, I’m fairly sure there is a midterm break hiding around the corner to catch us out soon as it all falls into place.

This weekend the eldest and I did a much shorter loop, but had a hill which I got him to push his bike up so we could blast down the other side, was a whole load of fun. But sadly one loop and he decided to play in the park with his brother and mom. Upside I got to do a second loop, but stupidly decided to actually cycle up the hill with my current level of fitness, but the downhill blast was all the more rewarding.

We did manage a single evening of Warhammer models, he continued to paint the Land Speeder model and I got a few more Orks put together. Slow work but we’ll get there. I think the hero image shows my level of enthusiasm at this stage, not superbly high.
